Partner Feedback
Electronic Identification (EID) is used as an efficient and economical way to collect data on each animal. The data is managed and formatted in a manner that is easy for members to understand and apply.
No longer does the producer market to the feedyard and the feedyard to the processor, all segments of the Ranchers Renaissance partnership chain work together—from the ranch to the plate. Information gathered by one partner is shared with the others. Having complete transparency of information alows the system increased efficiency.
By establishing a system where information is shared between all segments, Ranchers Renaissance is able to verify source, process and genetic information.
Source Verification – The ability to verify the ranch or origin and age of an animal as it progresses through the production chain. Additional information includes dates of transfer of either ownership or location, all identifying marks such as brands, ear tags, tattoos or EID.
Genetic Verification – The ability to verify the genetic background of an animal. This includes but is not limited to the identity of the dam and sire or dam herd and sire or sire group, breeds or breed types and the day, month or season of birth and year of birth.
Our Pricing Model
Ranchers Renaissance offers a value-based price model. This model works to reward members of the beef value chain for a superior product and alleviates some economic risks traditionally borne by individual segments.
Ranchers Renaissance does not promise automatic profits. And, for maximum profit potential, cattle must meet fabrication specs and pass more than 23 quality control points.
